Springs Preserve Adaptive Hiking
The Springs Preserve is the birth place of Las Vegas. The original springs provided water for the town and subsequent wells provided for growth. On March 25, 2023, Trail Access Project offered a group outing for experiencing the nature preserve, botanical gardens, and reconstructed townsite. Trail Access Project contributed the entrance fee for everyone.
There were forty two participants, including families and friends, including sixteen participants who used wheelchairs. The park is very accessible for wheelchairs.
