Maximum grade: 1%
Accessible features nearby: Observation tower at the end of the boardwalk and viewing areas along the way with shaded stops.
The boardwalk takes you right into the marsh so you get an up close and personal experience of what the marsh is all about. We saw flowers, a raccoon, anoles, and of course the marsh birds. It was a wonderful way to get out into the heart of a marsh. See this link for photos and more information: https://www.hikingproject.com/trail/7019922/chesser-island-boardwalk
